Tennessee Announces Return Of Big Orange Caravan

Final Four Futures Odds

After a three year hiatus, Tennessee is bringing back its Big Orange Caravan this spring with stops in Chattanooga, Atlanta, the Tri-Cities, Nashville and Memphis.

The event was a staple of Tennessee’s fan outreach over the years, before Phillip Fulmer and Jeremy Pruitt did away with the event in 2019.

“Voice of the Vols” Bob Kesling will host the event asking questions and driving conversation between Tennessee’s coaches.

Tennessee’s Josh Heupel, Rick Barnes, Kellie Harper and Danny White will all participate in the event.

Heupel is coming off his first season as Tennessee’s head coach, splitting the Steve Spurrier First-Year Coach Award with Shane Beamer.

Heupel’s first Tennessee team went 7-6 (4-4 SEC), breaking an abundance of program offensive records before losing to Purdue in the Music City Bowl.

Harper guided her Lady Vols team back to a top-four seed in the NCAA Tournament despite battling through an abundance of injuries. Senior Rae Burrell missed over a month with an injury, reserve center Keyen Green tore her ACL in early February and star point guard Jordan Horston suffered an elbow injury she’s still working back from.

Tennessee opens NCAA Tournament play on Saturday against Buffalo.

Barnes is on the heels of leading Tennessee to its first SEC Tournament Championship since 1979. After losing eight straight conference tournament title games at Texas and Tennessee, Barnes claimed the conference tournament title for the first time since 1994 at Providence.

The Vols open NCAA Tournament play on Thursday against Longwood.

The trip around the southeast includes trips to Chattanooga (April 19), Atlanta (April 20), the Tri-Cities (April 21), Nashville (April 28) and Memphis (May 3).

Tickets cost $20 and includes light food options. You can purchase tickets here.
