Overall, I give the 2016 backups the edge at the skill positions, but I think a couple of massive advantages for the 2013 offensive line and linebackers evens it up. If they were truly playing a game, I think UT could use that 2013 O-line to overpower UT’s second-team defense and move the football with some regularity.
I’d pick the 2013 team in a close one, but the fact that we can even have this debate show just how far the depth and talent has come on this roster for the Vols.
