9. CB Baylen Buchanan
Buchanan was somewhat of an afterthought in the 2016 class, but he’s emerged as one of its most valuable players in the opening few weeks. With Cam Sutton down and Justin Martin struggling last week, the Lawrenceville native, who played at the same high school as Warrior, will make his first career start on Saturday. He’s drawing early comparisons to Sutton, the man he’s replacing, and while it’s too early to say if he’ll have that kind of career or not, he certainly has been better than advertised so far. He could be much higher on this list in the future, possibly even later this year.
