Defensive Line
The one unit that performed consistently well all night, Tennessee’s defensive line wreaked havoc against an outmatched South Carolina offensive line. Derek Barnett feasted with three sacks and two quarterback hurries. Kendall Vickers and Corey Vereen also had a sack each, and Kyle Phillips and Shy Tuttle added a tackle for loss apiece as well. The defensive line wasn’t able to be as effective when it came to stopping the run, but Tennessee’s defensive line was more than just Derek Barnett for this game.
