Special Teams
Putting aside an ill-advised 58-yard field goal attempt at the end of the game, Tennessee’s special teams unit had one of their best performances of the season. Evan Berry returned his first kickoff for a touchdown on the season, running 100 yards for a score in the second half. Punter Trevor Daniel averaged 49 yards a punt and boomed several field-flipping punts on the night. A few special teams penalties, however, kept it from being an even better night for this unit.
