The Vols didn’t pull away until late in their game against Missouri, but thanks to a flurry of points in the fourth quarter, Tennessee was able to hold off the Tigers and win 63-37 despite finding out during the game their SEC East title hopes were erased thanks to Florida beating LSU.

Missouri set a record for most yards against a Vols defense by amassing 740 yards of total offense, and 420 of those yards came on the ground. Tennessee had few answers for Missouri’s offense, but the Tigers’ defense was just worse than the Vols’ defense.

Josh Dobbs once again stole the show, scoring five total touchdowns and running for 190 yards while throwing for 223 yards.
