The Vols only had one scholarship running back available on Saturday, and he turned in a respectable performance. Carlin Fils-Aime ran the ball seven times for 32 yards and caught a pass for six yards. He showed off his toughness on some of his runs and looked comfortable running behind the line. But he was the lone bright spot in the running game, as the rest of Tennessee’s backs combined to run for 26 yards on 10 carries. Granted, those other backs were all walk-ons, but it’s still wasn’t a solid overall day for the running game.
