Easily the highest-rated visitor to Knoxville this weekend, Isaac Taylor-Stuart remains one of Tennessee’s top priorities heading into National Signing Day.

Taylor-Stuart is one of the top cornerbacks in the 2018 cycle. The 247Sports Composite rankings has him as the No. 4 cornerback in the class and the No. 32 overall player in the country. Taylor-Stuart is being heavily pursued by USC, and the San Diego native will be hard to sway to leave the west coast.

Taylor-Stuart is not only a solid corner, but he’s a phenomenal athlete as well. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 187 pounds, and he allegedly has run a 4.3 second 40 time as well. That kind of athleticism is extremely rare, and he knows how to use it effectively.

As a senior, Taylor-Stuart totaled 71 tackles, 14 pass break-ups, six interceptions, and two forced fumbles. He totaled 13 interceptions and 40 passes defended in his high school career.

Tennessee is making Taylor-Stuart the focal point of this weekend, and he’s one of their top remaining targets in this 2018 class. He’s supposedly bringing his whole family from California into Knoxville this weekend, and that’s good news for Tennessee.

  1. Im tired of chasing these kids around allowing their heads to blow up like balloons. Year in and year out, UT has top recruiting classes. And that doesnt and has not translated into much. These kids have a good year or two and jump for the NFL money. I would rather have 3star talent with young men who want to earn a degree than these 5star kids with over inflated egos.
