Tennessee is looking to add another running back to their class to go along with Jeremy Banks. They currently have Anthony Grant committed but not signed, but it’s not looking likely that the Vols will be able to hold on to his commitment and ultimately sign him on National Signing Day.
The Vols are looking at Jashaun Corbin, who actually was committed to Tennessee from April to May of 2017, as one of the potential backs they can add in the class. C’Bo Flemister is another option. Flemister didn’t sign with Georgia Tech during the early signing period because of the Vols, although now it looks as though Notre Dame might be the team to beat for him.
Whether or not the Vols can hold on to Grant will greatly affect how they pursue the running back position over the next few days. If they keep him, they likely won’t pursue another back. But if they can’t, expect a full court press on Corbin and Flemister.
