Tennessee already has two tight ends committed in the 2018 class, and one of them is four-star JUCO tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson. But the Vols’ new coaches want to focus a great deal on the tight end position moving forward, and they’re still in on the talented Glenn Beal.
Only time will tell if the Vols take a third tight end, but Beal is talented enough for Tennessee to want to take as long as they have room and address their other needs appropriately. He has the size to be used as a blocker, but he’s athletic enough to be a pass catcher too. The Vols will have to battle to get him, but they are in good position as long as they have room.
