Any time you can score a touchdown on special teams, you know it’s a good day. Marquill Osborne blocked a punt and picked up to return it eight yards for a touchdown, and the Vols later recovered a fumbled punt that set up the offense with great field position. Joe Doyle looked better overall as a punter on Saturday, booming a 52-yard punt and getting two punts downed inside the 20. Brent Cimaglia nailed his first field goal attempt of the season from 26 yards out.

Marquill Osborne sparked the Vols following the weather delay with a blocked punt and recovery for a touchdown. Tennessee also recovered a muffed punt when the Bucs’ punt returner just flat-out dropped the football. The Vols’ punt return team wasn’t the only unit to impact the game, as punter Joe Doyle flipped field position with a 52-yard punt and Brent Cimaglia connected on his first field goal attempt of the season from 26-yards out. Cimaglia also made all six of his extra point attempts.
