Where Tennessee Stands in Latest Football Recruiting Rankings

    The Tennessee Volunteers’ recruiting train just keeps chugging along as the calendar turns through the summer months. On Sunday, three-star running back/athlete Will Stallings Jr committed to Tennessee, giving the Vols their 10th prospect in the class.

    The Vols’ class is headlined by five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who is now sitting as Tennessee’s third-highest recruit in program history. There are already three offensive skill players in the class, which features tight end Ethan Davis, Nashville-based wide receiver Nate Spillman, and Stallings Jr. In addition, the Vols have commitments from a pair of offensive linemen from the Volunteer State in Trevor Duncan (Knoxville) and Ayden Bussell (Mt. Juliet).

    On the defensive side of the ball, the Vols are bringing in the top-rated player in the state in EDGE rusher Caleb Herring. Tennessee also has a commitment from defensive backs Sylvester Smith and Jack Luttrell, who are both solid athletes are their positions. Lastly, to round out the list, Tennessee also has a commitment from in-state defensive lineman Nathan Robinson.
