Four-star class of 2024 shooting guard Cam Scott released his top six including Tennessee Saturday afternoon.

Auburn, Florida State, Kansas, South Carolina and Texas join Tennessee in Scott’s top six.

Scott ranks as the No. 26 player and the No. 7 shooting guard in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Lexington, South Carolina native is the top player in the 2024 recruiting class in the Palmetto State.

Scott included his home state Gamecocks in his top group as new South Carolina coach Lamont Paris looks for a major recruiting win.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has taken an abundance of visits during his recruitment including official visits to Texas, Auburn and South Carolina over the last six weeks.

Scott unofficially visited Tennessee in October— his lone recruiting trip to Knoxville. Scott’s visit was the weekend of Tennessee football’s victory over Alabama and Scott was impressed with another South Carolina native.

Tennessee doesn’t have a single player committed in its 2024 recruiting class but almost has its entire 2023 recruiting class set.

The Vols signed four prospects during the fall signing period: four-star center JP Estrella, four-star combo guard Freddie Dilione, three-star power forward Cade Phillips and three-star shooting guard Cameron Carr.
