Four-star tight end Jaden Reddell released his top five Wednesday night with Tennessee football making the cut. The Vols joined Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and Oregon in the blue chip recruit’s top group.

Reddell is one of the top recruits in the 2024 recruiting cycle, ranking as a four-star recruit and No. 58 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-4, 233 pound tight end also ranks as the No. 4 tight end nationally and the No. 3 player in the state of Missouri.

Tennessee has had an abundance of success recruiting Missouri in Josh Heupel’s young tenure. The Vols landed blue chip EDGE rusher Chandavian Bradley from the “Show Me State” in the 2023 cycle and have a commitment from four-star Kellen Lindstrom in the 2024 cycle.

Tennessee has hosted Reddell on a pair of visits so far during his recruitment. The Peculiar, Missouri native visited Knoxville for the Alabama game last October and again this April. The Vols are slated to be the first of four official visits Reddell takes.

Alabama has hosted Reddell for more visits (three) than any other school in his top five. The four-star recruit has taken one visit to Georgia, Notre Dame and Oregon but has official visits scheduled to Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame.

Tennessee football’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains 11 commits including top 100 recruit Jonathan Echols. While recruiting services rank Echols as an athlete, the IMG Academy standout projects as a tight end in Knoxville. Pairing Reddell with Echols would give the Vols the best tight end recruiting class in the country.

The Vols’ 11 commit recruiting class ranks 10th nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
