Seton Hall transfer outfielder Aiden Robbins is visiting Tennessee baseball later this week, KnoxNews Mike Wilson first reported and a source confirmed to RTI Tuesday.

Robbins hit .438 with five home runs, 16 doubles and 33 RBIs in his sophomore season on his way to earning First Team All-Big East honors. The corner outfielder posted an extremely impressive .438/.550/.669 slash line in 2025 while striking out in just 12.5% of his plate appearances and walking in 17.3% of them.

The Yardley, Pennsylvania native is also a strong base stealer, swiping 16 bags in his sophomore season for the Pirates.

Robbins ranked near the top of the country in a number of offensive categories during the 2025 season. His .438 batting average ranked sixth nationally while his .537 on-base percentage ranked fifth.

Tennessee is in need of outfielders in the portal with a strong possibility that they could lose all three starters from its 2025 roster. Centerfielder Hunter Ensley is out of eligibility while corner outfielders Dalton Bargo and Reese Chapman are draft eligible.

More From RTI: Big 10 Starting Pitcher Visiting Tennessee Baseball Tuesday

Neither Bargo or Chapman are complete locks to forgo their final year of college eligibility for professional baseball, but it is the most likely result for both. Tennessee has a trio of talented freshmen who are capable of playing in the outfield, including Jay Abernathy and Chris Newstrom, but both could also factor in the infield in their sophomore seasons.

Tennessee hosted highly touted Virginia transfer Henry Ford, who can play first base or corner outfield, on an official visit last week but he is draft eligible this summer and has all the makings of a top five round selection.

Tony Vitello and his staff are busy in the transfer portal this week after this season came to an end over the weekend in the Fayetteville Super Regional. ETSU transfer relief pitcher Brady Frederick is visiting Tennessee Tuesday while Rutgers transfer starting pitcher Landon Mack arrives in Knoxville for a visit Tuesday night.

The Vols have landed three transfer commits so far this offseason and all three are pitchers. Big South Pitcher of the Year Clay Edmondson, Kennesaw State’s Bo Rhudy and MIT’s Mason Estrada are Tennessee’s three portal commits though Edmondson is draft eligible.

Tennessee has also landed a pair of talented junior college transfers in pitcher Matt Barr and utility man Tyler Myatt. Myatt started at designated hitter for Walters State last season but is capable of playing corner outfield. Both prospects are draft eligible though Barr is the greater threat to turn professional.
