Special Teams
Trevor Daniel was able to salvage a 43.2 yard per punt average, but it wasn’t his best day overall. The Vols, in what is a pretty rare sight this year, lost the punting battle. And though the field goals were long, Vol fans can’t help but wonder what would’ve happened if Aaron Medley would’ve hit one or two his three misses (43, 51, 51) on the night. Neither team did much in the return game, but Alabama hit its two field goals in what turned out to be a five-point game.
