The Vols were 37-point underdogs against Alabama coming into this game, and that was the biggest underdog Tennessee had been in program history. And they lived up to it, losing by 38 points to the Tide. Tennessee had little chance of winning this game, and it shouldn’t have been a big surprise the Vols lost. But it was how they lost and how bad the offense looked that stands out, and it’s just another example of how bad the Vols have played in the SEC this season.
