Jarrett Guarantano made his first road start of his career, and the redshirt freshman had quite a tall task ahead of him when he faced arguably the best defense in the SEC and the nation on Saturday. Guarantano got off to a decent start and was creating some plays with his feet. But by the time the game was over, the Vols’ offensive line was worn down, and Guarantano had taken a beating. His final stat line is nothing to write home about, as he completed nine of his 16 passes for 44 yards and an interception at the goal line while running for negative 12 yards after counting in sacks.
