Defensive Line
Tennessee’s defensive line failed to make much of an impact in this game. At least not in a good way. Jonathan Kongbo was penalized twice for “hands to the face,” and both gave the Tide an automatic first down. Kyle Phillips did bat down a pass, but Kahlil McKenzie, Shy Tuttle, Kendal Vickers, and the reserves all didn’t get much penetration in the backfield and rarely pressured either of Alabama’s quarterbacks.
