Offensive Line

The Vols have gotten off to a good start recruiting the offensive line in this class. Five-star offensive tackle Wanya Morris and four-star guard Jackson Lampley are two great additions to Tennessee’s future offensive line.

But Tennessee’s offensive line needs fixing in a hurry. And they also need to replace a lot of players departing after this season and next.

Drew Richmond, Marcus Tatum, Chance Hall, and Jahmir Johnson will all be gone by the end of the 2019 season, and there’s a very good chance that Trey Smith will declare early after 2019 too.

Tennessee is looking at several high quality options on the offensive line in this class. Five-star tackle Darnell Wright is the biggest name, and five-star center Clay Webb is intriguing too. But others such as three-star tackle Chris Akporoghene and three-star guards Melvin McBride and William Pritchard are also worth keeping an eye on.
