The Tennessee Takeover on the SEC Network is Stacked With Big Games

The SEC Network’s “Tennessee Takeover” has officially been given a schedule this week.

During the month of July, from the 2nd to the 15th, the SEC Network is running dedicated programming days on the television network for each of the 14 SEC programs.

Tennessee’s SEC Network takeover will be on Wednesday, July 13.

The TV slate for the Vols and Lady Vols next Wednesday will feature a number of thrilling games from different sports, SEC documentaries, and more.

Below is the schedule (via UT Sports) for the Tennessee Takeover on the SEC Network on Wednesday, July 13:

Midnight – Football: Tennessee vs. South Carolina (Oct. 9, 2021)

  • Tennessee 45, South Carolina 20

3 a.m. – Football: Tennessee Volunteers Spring All-Access

4 a.m. – Women’s Basketball: Tennessee vs. Kentucky (Jan. 16, 2022)

  • No. 18 Tennessee 84, No. 15 Kentucky 58

6 a.m. – Volleyball: Tennessee vs. Arkansas (Sept. 26, 2021)

  • Tennessee 3, Arkansas 0

7:30 a.m. – SEC Storied: Catch 98

8:30 a.m. – Men’s Basketball: Tennessee vs. Texas A&M (SEC Tournament – March 13, 2022)

10:30 a.m. – SEC Inside: SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament

11 a.m. – Soccer: Tennessee vs. Arkansas (SEC Tournament – Nov. 7, 2021)

1:30 p.m. – Women’s Basketball: Tennessee vs. Texas (Nov. 21, 2021)

As mentioned previously, all 14 SEC teams will have a dedicated day on the SEC Network to highlight their most recent 2021-2022 season. While there has already been a couple of days of programming to go by, there are still quite a few programs that have yet to go. The takeover order is done alphabetically.

The schedule for the SEC Network Takeovers is as follows:

July 5 – Florida

July 6 – Georgia

July 7 – Kentucky

July 9 – Ole Miss

The Tennessee Takeover on the SEC Network will be on Wednesday, July 13.
