Georgia handed No. 1 Tennessee its first loss of the 2022 season Saturday, easily handling the Vols a 27-13 loss at Sanford Stadium.

The Bulldogs held Tennessee without a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter after jumping out to a 21-3 lead and coasting to the finish.

Let’s see how the Vols graded out.

Elite grade = 90-100, All-Conference = 85-89, Starter = 70-84, Backup = 60-69, Replaceable = 60 >

Offensive Grades (minimum 19 plays — 25% of offensive snaps)

C Cooper Mays — 70.8 (80 plays)

RT Darnell Wright — 66.1 (80 plays)

QB Hendon Hooker — 66.0 (80 plays)

LG Jerome Carvin — 65.4 (80 plays)

TE Jacob Warren — 61.7 (39 plays)

WR Cedric Tillman — 61.6 (76 plays)

WR Jalin Hyatt — 59.2 (76 plays)

WR Bru McCoy — 55.8 (79 plays)

RG Javontez Spraggins — 54.7 (80 plays)

RB Jaylen Wright — 52.6 (62 plays)

LT Jeremiah Crawford —44.9 (80 plays)

TE Princeton Fant — 44.6 (44 plays)

The grades were predictably the lowest they’ve been all season for Tennessee’s offense. Even on a day where he played poorly, Hooker was near the top of the Vols’ offensive grades.

Tennessee’s eight pre-snap penalties were balanced out. Jeremiah Crawford and Princeton Fant earned two while Darnell Wright, Jerome Carvin, Jalin Hyatt and Jaylen Wright all earned them too.

Crawford has played well this season in place of Gerald Mincey this season but the former junior college prospect struggled badly against the Bulldogs.
