6. The sky is the limit for Jalen Hurd
Again, this hasn’t been a secret. UT’s sophomore back is a stud. He showed that again on Friday, and did it on a bad hamstring that Butch Jones said almost cost him an opportunity to play in the game. He showed few ill-effects from it, running for 130 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries – garnering Outback Bowl MVP honors in the process. He needs less than 900 yards to become UT’s all-time leading career rusher, and he should, if he remains healthy, have at least 13 more games to get to that total. He’s getting better and better, and individual records and awards are all within sight in 2016.
