Defensive backs
There were some missed tackles from this bunch, but a second-half interception by Cam Sutton, combined with the game-winning play by Micah Abernathy, gave this group some of the highlights of the evening. Taylor Lamb (15-of-23, 108 yards) hit some shorts throws, but never really challenged this group down the field. The tackling and run support needs to improve, but this group might’ve saved the game for the Vols with the big plays.
