Offensive Line
Tennessee’s offensive line didn’t allow a single sack or tackle for loss, and they helped open up holes for the Vols’ run game to amass 177 rushing yards on just 25 carries. All the quarterbacks that were in had ample time to throw, and Tennessee’s running backs consistently had good blocking and weren’t hit behind the line hardly at all. Tech’s defensie front wasn’t anything like the Vols have been playing the last month-plus, but they looked bad against inferior competition earliert this season too. So this performance was nice to see.
