Overall
Tennessee desperately needed a game like this after a disappointing loss to South Carolina last weekend. Not only did the Vols dominate from start to finish, but they got their starters out quickly and still managed to play their cleanest and most efficient game of the season. There’s very little to critique about this game, but it’s worth taking this performance with a grain of salt. Tennessee Tech is a mediocre FCS team at best this season. But credit Tennessee for showing up and not taking the win for granted.
