One of Tennessee’s two graduate transfers who is graduating at the end of this season, Keller Chryst joined the Vols for his final year of eligibility after playing four years at Stanford. Chryst was brought in to compete for the Vols’ starting quarterback position, but redshirt sophomore Jarrett Guarantano beat him out for the job and has started all 10 games of this season so far.

The most action Chryst has seen this season was filling in for Guarantano after the redshirt sophomore took a big hit in the second quarter of the Vols’ match-up with Alabama. Chryst would complete nine of his 15 pass attempts for 164 yards and two touchdowns serving in Guarantano’s place.

In six appearances this season, Chryst has completed 16 of his 28 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns.
