Alexis Johnson was part of Tennessee’s 2015 signing class and came in as a four-star junior college defensive lineman. He redshirted during his first year at Tennessee in 2016, and his role has gradually increased the longer he’s been at UT.

Johnson played in 11 games as a redshirt junior in 2017, and this season he’s been one of the trio of seniors who have started along Tennessee’s defensive line all season. He’s enjoyed his best year as a Vol this season, setting career-highs across the board.

In 21 total appearances, Johnson has 54 tackles, six tackles for loss, four sacks, and a pass defended.
