Coming in to Tennessee, D.J. Henderson was viewed as a potential plug-and-play option in the secondary as a JUCO cornerback. But he never appeared in a single game his first year on campus, and after playing sparingly in 2017, he’s only made a handful of appearances this season either.

Henderson started out as a defensive back, was briefly moved to wide receiver under UT’s new coaching staff, but moved back to defensive back later on this year.

In 15 total appearances, Henderson has made 10 tackles, a tackle for loss, and a fumble recovery.
