Where Tennessee Football’s Recruiting Class Ranks After Adding a Tight End Commitment

Tennessee football has essentially traded a three-star linebacker for a tight end in its 2026 recruiting class this past week. The Vols suffered a decommitment from backer Braylon Outlaw, but picked up the commitment of tight end Luca Wolf.

This does make the numbers in the class make a bit more sense, though. The Vols still hold two elite linebacker commitments and fill one of the holes, tight end, in which they previously held no commitments in the class.

With the cycle winding down as UT makes late pushes and attempts to hold on to other commitments, Tennessee’s group ranks as one of the better classes in the country.
