2. Dobbs is an NFL quarterback
We went more in-depth on this in a separate article, but it’s worth repeating that Dobbs has shown he’s a draftable quarterback over the past several weeks. He reiterated that point on Friday with another impressive performance, this time completing 23-of-38 passes for 291 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 118 yards and three scores on 11 carries. Few have questioned his athleticism or his work ethic. Accuracy has been the question. He certainly answered that over the final few weeks. There will be enough questions about his ups and downs throwing the ball throughout his career that he likely won’t be a high pick. Some NFL team needs to invest in him, however, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him turn into a decent professional player despite some of his shortcomings.
