5. The light has turned on for Jonathan Kongbo
It was an up-and-down year for newcomer Jonathan Kongbo, who was all but out of the picture at some points in the season. But with Tennessee’s shorthanded on the defensive line, Kongbo started to have the light turn on late in the season, and he saved his best for last on Friday. He recorded four tackles, two TFLs, a pair of QB hurries and was credited with a sack after forcing an intentional grounding. The Vols have a lot to replace on the defensive line next year, but Kongbo should be a big part of the solution whether he plays inside or out in 2017.
