7. The fans still showed up
It’s tough to blame the fans who were upset about Tennessee landing in the Music City Bowl as opposed to the Sugar Bowl. Plenty took to social media to voice their displeasure, with some saying fans should boycott. There might’ve been some that did, but there was also a great showing in Nashville from both sides, with about 60% of the sold-out crowd dressed in UT orange. Bowl attendance has been impressive from this fanbase over the past three years.
