Chalk up a massive win for Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and the Volunteers on the recruiting trail.

Tennessee went out and landed class of 2026 athlete Salesi Moa on Thursday afternoon to bolster the Vols’ ongoing recruiting class.

The Ogden, UT, native is ranked as a five-star prospect according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He also comes in as the No. 31 prospect in the country, the No. 2 athlete in the class, and the No. 1 player from the state of Utah.

Moa brings serious two-way talent to Tennessee with the ability to play both wide receiver and in the secondary. It’s unclear exactly how the Vols will use Moa’s skillset, but there’s no doubt that he can give either position group an immediate boost when he arrives on campus and gets to work.

Moa, the 23rd commitment in the Vols’ class, now gives Tennessee a Top 10 spot in 247’s 2026 team rankings.

The move to the No. 9 ranking on 247’s list is also helped by the addition of Joel Wyatt, a four-star in-state athlete who committed to Tennessee on Monday afternoon.

The Vols currently sit as the fifth-ranked team in the SEC behind No. 1 Georgia, No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Alabama, and No. 6 Texas.

According to 247, Tennessee’s 23-man recruiting class consists of two five-star commits, 11 four-star commits, and 10 three-star commits.
