Who Should Jeremy Pruitt Take to SEC Media Days?

Another player who has yet to live up to expectations at Tennessee, Drew Richmond has nonetheless taken somewhat of a leadership role in a fairly young offensive line unit. Richmond returns for his redshirt junior year with 13 career starts on the offensive line, which is tied with Chance Hall for the most on the team. Trey Smith is the only other lineman with double digit career starts (12) returning this year.

In fact, only wide receiver Jauan Jennings returns with more career starts (16) on offense than Richmond and Hall.

Richmond spoke to the media fairly often whenever players were made available in the spring, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if he’s the lone offensive representative chosen to join Pruitt in Atlanta. Tennessee doesn’t have a lot of returning experience on offense this year, and Richmond is entering his fourth year in the program. He would be the most logical choice for a player on offense.
