9. Cam Sutton
On defense, Cam Sutton didn’t have a bad game. His special teams play was a different story, however.
Sutton had an uncharacteristic fumble on his first punt return against Appalachian State. He’d go on to return a couple more, but he officially finished with zero return yards on three attempts. For a player that averaged 18 yards a punt return last season, that’s incredibly bad.
For Sutton, this was likely just a one week aberration. But he needs to show that and have a better game in Week 2.
